Introduction

Chemical Science are interestingly required to solve the challenges in energy and climate change, food production and clean water. It has an increasing role in biochemistry, medicine and pharmaceutical industries. The prime objective of this National Seminar is to provide an opportunity for a close interaction of researchers with varied interest in diverse fields of the subject. It will also provide a common platform and more opportunities to the researchers in the areas of chemical sciences and biological sciences and other related areas to interact with each other. This will also provide a forum for in-depth assessment of challenges involved in the dynamic and fast moving field of research. It will bring together leading chemists from various fields to discuss important developments in chemistry. Theme of the Seminar: Recent Developments in Chemistry

Call for Papers/Posters and Timeline

Faculty and research scholars are invited to present their work on the mentioned topics. The interested participants are requested to submit their abstracts adhereing to the following specifications:

  • MS Word Doc/Docx format
  • Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.0 line spacing,
  • Justified up to 500 words including title (14, bold, centered) and
  • email id (10, centered)
  • The name of the presenting author must be underlined and mode of presentation (oral / poster) must be mentioned.
  • Poster size should be 3ft by 3ft.

One author should not submit more than two abstracts. An advance scanned copy of the registration form and DD should be sent along with the abstract to the smcrdc17@gmail.com on or before the 3rd of June, 2017

How to reach:

The nearest airport is Guwahati airport which is located about 120Kms from Shillong. The nearest railway station is Guwahati railway station. From Guwahati one can avail of a tourist vehicle or bus to reach Shillong. Saint Mary’s College is at the heart of Shillong City; one can disembark at either Police Bazaar or IGP and take a cab to Laitumkhrah, Don Bosco Square.
