A one day workshop was organized by the Department of Chemistry on Nanotechnology. Dr Ayan Bhattacharjee [Associate Dean NIT SHILLONG] was the Resource Person. This workshop was a part of exposure programme for the students. Dr Bhattacharjee introduced the students to the world of Nano Science and NanoTechnology. His presentation had focused on the emerging trends in Nanoscience and its applicability in the area of Medicine and Technology. Students from different colleges had participated in the event.
